Can a jin ocupy a human body, is there anything like ’saya of jin’?

Answer:

Allah Says in the Quran:

We created man from sounding clay from mud molded into shape; And the Jinn race We had created before from the fire of a scorching wind.QURAN[15: 26-27]

The Jinn’s and the humans are two different creations of Allah, who have their own test of life, and the Jinn, like the human beings, will have a full accounting of their deeds on the Day of Judgment.

Going into it logically: Allah has created a system where every person is responsible for the deeds he does with his own will & will not be accountable for anything what others does. Now let us take an example:

If the ‘jin’ had the power or could possess someone, then whatever that person does or says, he does not do or say with his own will but rather it would be the will of the Jinn! If a jinn could posses a human being, he could murder someone, rape someone, steal something, etc. and make the human being he has possessed do many an evil deed….and the innocent person could be held guilty in a court of law and punished for something he did not will to do!!!! The whole system of life and the test that the Allah has bestowed would be in total disarray…and no ones’ life or property would be safe on this earth!

So can their be such an error in the handiwork of Allah? Absolutely no.

The only thing that the jinn’s can do to the humans is that they can whispers into the hearts of mankind.

Allah Says in the Quran:
(Say: I seek refuge in Allah ) from the mischief of the whisperer (of evil) who withdraws (after his whisper) (The same) who whispers into the hearts of mankind Among Jinns, and among men. QURAN[114: 4-6]

Thus not only is the guidance of the Holy Quran against the very concept of a jinn possessing a human being, but even logically it is absolutely impossible for a jinn to possess a human being and make him do his will!

So who ever claim that jins can possess or claims that he can eliminate jin from human body is a lair. And Allah alone knows the best.

If someone gives a gift to a man in authority, inorder to get favour over others, can it be considered as a bribe, fast reply will be appreciated, jazakala

Answer:

Allah Says in the Quran:

Do not usurp one another’s property by unjust means, nor offer it (bribes) to the judges so that you may devour knowingly and unjustly a portion of the goods of others. QURAN [2:188]

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As The Messenger of Allah (saws) invoked the curse of Allah on the one who bribes and the one who takes bribe. ABU-DAWOOD[Book 24 : Hadith 3573]

Thus from the above guidance of Allah & his prophet (pbuh), To demand or accept a bribe in absolutely any form or under any guise or circumstances is absolutely forbidden in Islam. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) has invoked the curse of Allah on the one who bribes and the one who takes bribe.

Thus if one sends a gift to someone who is in authority, in order to receive any type of favor over others, will be considered as a bribe. So a believer should always abstain from giving bribe or taking bribe in any form, & should fear Allah. And Allah alone knows the best.

What does islam say, if someone breaks into someones facebook account, or any other account, to view his secret messages?

Answer:

Allah Says in the Quran:

O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: and spy not on each other nor speak ill of each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay ye would abhor it...but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-Returning Most Merciful. QURAN[49:12]

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas The Prophet (saws) said: 'He who sees the (personal) letter of his brother without his permission, sees Hell-fire!' ABU-DAWOOD[Book 8 : Hadith 1480]

Thus from the above guidance of Allah and His Messenger (pbuh), it is prohibited for a believer to break into any ones account to spy on or to read anyone’s private messages with out his/her permission. And Allah alone knows the best.

Can we sleep by keeping our legs towards the Qibla?

Answer:

There is absolutely no restriction in the Shariah which states that one cannot sit with their legs towards the direction of the Kaaba. If one in a normal sitting position faces his legs towards the Kaaba, without any intention of disrespect; there is absolutely no harm and no sin.

Urinating

Asalam-u-alykum, I want to know that while we go collages & university the toilets there are standing toilets, which is prohibited in Islam to urinate in standing position, what the Quran & Hadith has to say for that, & also what are the places where we should not urinate. Jazakala.

Answer:

Our beloved prophet Mohammad (pbuh) always urinate in the sitting position, but on some occasions he urinated in the standing position, as reported

Hudhaifah relates that the Messenger of Allah (saws), went to a public garbage dump and urinated while standing. Hudhaifah went away, and the Prophet (saws) then called him over. The Prophet made ablution, and wiped over his shoes. This is related by Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, and Tirmidhi.

Under usual circumstances, it is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah to urinate almost always in a sitting position; but if some one on some occasion feels that his clothes may get impure while urinating in sitting position then there is no harm if he urinate while standing position & he should guarantee that no impurities will touch his clothes while urinating standing.

Thus, it is desirable to always urinate in a sitting position; but if one fears impurity at a college toilet, etc. there is no harm if one urinates standing

1. One should avoid shaded places and those places where people walk and gather:

2. One should not urinate in bathing places or in still water:

Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (_), said, "Beware of those acts which cause others to curse." They asked, "What are those acts?" He said, "Relieving yourself in the people's walkways or in their shade." SAHIH MUSLIM: [vol. 1, no. 516] and SUNAN ABU DAWUD:[ vol. 1, no. 25] And Allah knows the best.

sleeping on stomach

Question:

sir, I want to ask that is sleeping downwords ie my front side of body touches ground & my back side is upwords, prohibited in islam

Answer:

Hadrat Yaish bin Tikhfah Al-Ghifari (r.a.) reported: ‘My father said: “I was lying down on my belly in the masjid when someone shook me with his foot, and said, "Lying down this way (upon one’s stomach) is disapproved by Allah.`` I looked up and saw that it was Messenger of Allah (saws).”’ Related by Abu Dawud.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah When Allah's Messenger (saws) saw a man lying on his stomach he said, "This is a method of lying down which Allah does not like." Al-Tirmidhi [ 4718]

Narrated by Abu Dharr The Prophet (saws) came upon him when he was lying on his stomach, jerked him with his foot and said, "Jundub, only those who go to Hell (the Shayateen) lie like this!" Al-Tirmidhi [ 4731]

Thus from the guidance of prophet Mohammad it is clear that lying on the stomach is not liked by Allah & only shaytan likes that way of sleeping. So a believer should abstain from doing an act which is not liked by Allah & his messenger(pbuh).
